The Century of Progress Grant

The Century of Progress staff is now accepting applications from those teachers interested in participating. The project is designed to provide history content knowledge aligned to 8th grade level Kansas state standards so first priority will be given to middle school history teachers in ESSDACK consortium school districts.

Informational 4-Day School Week Meeting

Superintendents will convene at ESSDACK in the mall in Hutchinson next Friday, February 26 from 9:30-11:30 discuss the 4-Day School Week as a potential solution to the financial challenges faced in schools today.  The conversation will include a panel of superintendents who will share their personal insights and experiences with this schedule.

Each monthly meeting will include a structured presentation by ESSDACK specialists or guest speakers, as well as time to share resources or ideas among the members. Additionally, participants will find the non-structured exploration time valuable to work collaboratively on projects or to view vendor demonstrations.
